Working principle of a Solar Powered Home / office
The sun's energy is captured by solar cells on the roof. These solar cells come in a variety of shapes, sizes, formats and integrated technologies. The sunlight falling on the solar module is converted into electricity using the Photo Voltaic (PV) principle. This power is transferred to the charge controller which regulates the amount of energy stored in the batteries. From there, power can be supplied to any devices using the solar power conditioning unit.
Hybrid Version
Hybrid power pack is one of the methods to maximize efficiency by combining more than one power sources. The Hybrid Version combines solar energy and grid power to give a reliable solution. The solar power conditioning unit converts Direct Current (DC) to Alternate Current (AC). The battery acts as a reservoir, supplying power continuously when grid power is not available.
System availability can be greatly enhanced increased in situations where there is intermittent grid supply by having a power pack comprising of solar PV panels, battery bank, and an Power Conditioning Unit (PCU), which feeds uninterrupted quality AC power to electrical loads taking energyfrom PV, grid or batteries as the case may be. Combining the best of both the worlds, batteries will be charged from solar energy as well as from the grid by a multistage charger integrated in the PCU.
We have designed the system in such a way that If the available solar energy is not sufficient (i.e., less than 500 mA) or in case of full discharge of battery, an internal charger will automatically charge the batteries through grid power.
