The main power source of the system is solar panels, which produces DC electricity from sunlight. The DC electricity is stored in the batteries. The sine wave inverter of the Power Conditioning Unit converts DC into AC to supply the AC loads connected like computers, lights fan etc

• Works from Solar (INVERTER mode) when battery is fully charged and continue to work in this mode till battery charge reaches 50%.
• Changes over to Mains supply, when battery charge becomes 50%. At this moment, if utility power is not available, system continue to work in inverter mode till battery charge reaches 20%
• In MAINS mode, if power fails, it automatically changes over to INVERTER mode
• When battery charge becomes 20%. energizes a contact, which can start a diesel generator or external power source like wind mills etc.
