Solar home system is a stand-alone solar power system, used for electrification in remote areas where the utility grid is not available. This system consists of charge controller and inverter in the same enclosure. The charge controller controls charging current from solar array to storage battery and the inverter converts DC from battery to AC to supply to AC appliances. The built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) functions to help maximize the power generated by PV array.
