Soil Bags

Soil Bags are bags made of Jute or coir and could be filled with sand or soil and used for purposes as flood control, military fortification. Bags can be filled with local sand or soil. It can also be used for growing mangroves and shrubs that grow in coastal sediment habitats. Coir soil bags, available in varius sizes like the 40X60 cms & 20 cms flap, are used in channels or on hill slopes to trap sediment ,interrupt water flow, erosion control etc.
