Sodium Silicofluoride

Sodium Silicofluoride is a white coloured powder that is fine, odourless and toxic. It is widely used as rodenticide. Sodium Silicofluoride that we provide has weak oxidizing or reducing powers. Redox reactions can however still occur. The majority of compounds in this class are slightly soluble or insoluble in water. If soluble in water, then the solutions are usually neither strongly acidic nor strongly basic. These compounds are not water-reactive. Sodium Silicofluoride is highly toxic and has many health hazards. Ingestion of it can cause symptoms like nausea, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration. Contact with eyes cause irritation and contact with skin cause rash, redness and burning, sometimes followed by ulcer formation.
