TCP Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of Pure Sodium Hydrosulphite (popularly known as Hydros) in India. We adopt a unique process for the manufacture of Sodium Hydrosulphite, known as 'Sodium Formate Process', as against the conventional method of Zinc or Amalgam Process. The advantage of Sodium Formate Process is that the end product does not contain even traces of Zinc Iron or Mercury. TCP has collaboration with Ms Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan, who have supplied both the imported equipment and the process know how for the plant. CHEMICAL STANDARD:
TCP Sodium Hydrosulphite conforms to ISI Standard in purity - 84-88%. TCP also manufacture Sodium Hydrosulphite of higher purity. Quality system of TCP's process is as per ISO 9001.
APPLICATIONS:Textile: A Reducing Agent, Dyeing Auxiliary in Vat Dyeing, in 'Reduction Clearing' of Disperse Dyes and in the 'Stripping' of direct colour and as a reduction Bleaching Agent for wool, nylon and cotton.
Food: As a preservative.
SugarJaggery: For purification as a Bleaching Agent in the removal of organic and other impurities, thereby imparting attractive colour and sweetness to the end product. Jaggery produced by hydros will not become black and will not become semi solid on long storage.
