It is Sodium Salt of alginic acid. It forms as a gum powder (thickener) when extracted from the cell walls of brown algae (also called marine algae ie seaweed obtained from coastal areas of southern India). We supply the best quality Sodium Alginate Gum in India.

A cold water soluble product. Algi is used in Reactive Dye Printing, Procian dyes, Acid dyes, Rapid dyes, Vat dyes, Disperse Dyes, etc. It works as a reactive printing agent, and has a special property. Using Algi Gum as a printing agent not only makes proper dyeing reaction but also make the fiber outline clear, color bright, smooth fabric, leveled printing. Algi Gum is suitable for all the fabrics like cotton, viscose, wool, nylon, silk, hosiery, blended fabrics, polyester, synthetic fiber. Algi Gum is available of both medium and high viscosity whichever is fit for printing requirements.
Algi works as a thickener for other liquids as well.
