Snub pulleys are commonly installed in belt conveyors to attain a higher angle of wrap on the drive pulley. Under this operation, the wrap angle on the snub pulley is in the area of 15 to 30. On the other hand, the belt conveyor pulleys with smaller diameters are installed to lead the belt into another angle.
