The flow visualization has played on important role in understanding fluid dynamic phenomena. One of the widely used methods of flow visualization in the smoke flow visualization technique. In this technique a sufficiently dense white smoke in inserted in to the flow continuously. The smoke is a cloud of particles. The cloud density is approximately the same as that of air and the particles sizes distributed as aerosol in the air are sufficient small such that they closely follow the flow pattern and sufficiently large enough to scatter light so that photographs of pattern may be taken.
