| AGRO PD – 1 crusher is specially designed to work on 5 bhp oil engine or electric motor and thus making it quite economical to farmers holding small acreage of sugarcane. PD-1 is a horizontal three roller crusher mounted on heavy cast iron frame. It designing an efficient and economical crusher which has proved very satisfactory. It is a streamlined model. |
| CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES |
| ROLLERS: Made of high grade cast iron. They are grooved in order to proper nib on sugarcane. |
| Axles: Made of high grade carbon steel forced into the Roller under hydraulic pressure. They will not become loose even under most strenuous conditions. |
| Gears: All gears are made of cast iron. They are carefully meshed ensuring noiseless and smooth running of the crusher. |
| Bearings : Made of high grade gun metal. The bearing holders made of Cast iron can be adjusted by tightening bolts in order to make rollers or close to suite the size of the sugarcane. |
| SIDE PLATES :- Made of high grade cast iron and carefully machined being very heavy in weight. They offer rigidity to the crusher and it tends to make the crusher safe and compact machine. |

In practice there is bound to be some variation due to variety, size and conditions of cane and also the skill of the operator. The sizes given in mm are approximate equivalents of sizes in inches.
