These gates are very similar to the conventional sliding gates, except that these gates do not need the ground track for the gates to move on. The advantage of a Cantilever Gate is smooth, quiet operation, vehicle does not experience any bumps and gate is not prone to getting blocked by leaves or dust hence reduced maintenance.

Cantilever Sliding Gates are approx. 1/3 longer than a tracked sliding system. This added length acts as a counterbalance so that the gate is free to slide back and forth, thus supported throughout the entire opening and closing width by the roller wheels contained within the bottom track rail.
