FOAMLOC DEFOAMER manufactures by Chemtex Speciality Limited, is an antifoaming silicone emulsion designed to provide optimum antifoam performance combined with excellent dilution stability and foam knock down performance. It is milky white in color and available in various solid contents. It effectively knocks down the surface foam and release entrained air. It is also used in non foaming system like crude oil and oil refining.
In industrial operation foam is a common problem. They pose problem on surface coating. It will not decrease the lubricity of the fluid and also will not stain non-ferrous material.
