Contact SupplierSilica Gel is chemically non-deliquescent, dimensionally stable, highly porous, granular, amorphous, non toxic, non corrosive & highest capacity adsorbent available today..
Typical Chemical Formula : SiO2 nH2O
Applications :
Silica Gel is commonly used for the following applications :
Type :
Regeneration : Silica Gel can be regenerated by evacuating or purging, usually at elevated temperatures. The purge gas temperature must be sufficiently high to bring the Silica Gel to a level of 150oC - 160oC, but not exceeding 2500C. Higher temperatures may cause physical degradation of the Silica Gel structure. At this stage it loses all the water of combination and consequently loses all the properties of adsorption once and for all. The degree of regeneration depends on the temperature, pressure and humidity of purge gas, and is a strong factor in affecting product purity.
Shipping Information : Silica Gel is available in 25 Kg HDPE Bags with inner Liner (Polyethylene bags) for Extra Protection.
