Silica Cased Immersion Heater

MATRUSREE’s Silica Cased immersion heaters are best suited where contamination of the liquid due to metal Sheath Material is a major problem. The pure fused silica sheath is highly resistant to corrosion, thereby eliminating the possibility of upsetting the chemical balance of solutions by metallic contamination.

Construction:

Silica Cased Immersion Heaters are made out of Quartz Silica tube sheathing, which is closed at one end. The Nichrome helically wounded wire is placed on a highly purity threaded ceramic core, so that the heating element should not sink upon heating. This complete unit is Now centered in this fused quartz tube and a rubber cap with terminal wires are mounted on the top.
