Budh Yantra should be installed and worshipped to pacify and appease planet Mercury. The planet Mercury is the Lord of zodiac signs Gemini & Virgo. It is considered as Prince in the solar system. Mercury is the nearest planet to Sun and it is a Natural Benefactor of Business & Speech. It is EXALTED in sign Virgo and DEBILITATED in sign Pisces. A person with a weak or malefic Mercury suffers from diseases of Nerves, Brain, Nervous Breakdown, Skin Diseases, Speech defects like Stammering, Insomnia and Sexual Weakness like Impotency. In all such cases, the person should establish a Budh Yantra to pacify the malefic effects of planet Mercury.The great phase of mercury lasts for 17 years. For the pacification of this planet fasts should be observed on every Amavasya (moonless night). The worship of mercury is done when it is situated in the northeast direction.
When Mercury is malefic, the use of mercury yantrabhudh yantra is very benefic and favourable. Mercury yantra protects from fire and electric loss etc. It is specially favourable for a pregnant woman against abortion and for the safe delivery of child. It is kept on rising moon Wednesday. Those having the problem of stammering and speech, shall perform daily puja to Bhudh yantra.
