Description Of Sealed Spherical Roller Bearings :

• Their seal consists of two washers, each attached to the inner and the outer ring
• These washer acts as a flinger, when the inner washer rotates
• They may have cylindrical or tapered bores
• These are fabricated for vibrating screens or exciters which induce accelerations of rollers and cages in the bearings

Specifications & Standards :

• Dimensions - Boundary dimensions in accordance with ISO
• Tolerance - They are usually meant for normal tolerance but can be enhanced

Standard Cage Types :
These bearings are available in cages. The pressed cages are standard for small size bearings and the machined cages are for the large ones. Newly developed glass fiber cage is used as a standard for the "E" type bearing. The glass fiber reinforced polyamide 46 resin, it has excellent heat resistance qualities (have operating temperature up to 150^oC), strength as well as are oil resistance. A standard cage may not be able to be used for high- speed specifications, in conditions like high temperatures or excessive vibration/impact conditions.
Allowable Misalignment :
The allowable misalignment angle varies according to dimension, series, & load conditions. The standard allowable misalignment is :

• Normal load (loads equivalent to 0.09 Cr) : 0.009rad (0.5^o)
• Light load : 0.035rad (2^o)

Internal Clearance :
Spherical Roller Bearings meet the standard with normal radial internal clearance and are also available with a greater C3 clearance
