In early 1980's, when induction technology in india was fairly new, founders of stead fast engineers (sfe) felt the need for a substitute to extremely expensive induction furnaces imported from europe. Driven by this compelling need, sfe started developing indigenous furnaces. As a result of years of r&d first furnace crucible was launched in mid-80 and a complete induction furnace was launched in early 90’s.
