SC Series Position Transmitter

The electronic inductive type SC Series Position Transmitter is known for its high precision and reliability, rugged compact design as well as easy installation and calibration. The SC Series Position Transmitter also has a separate adjustment of zero, range and linearity and contactless sensors. The wear-free SC Series Position Transmitter has additional limit switches of mechanical or inductive types and there is a housing for the end position monitoring of control element. The limit switches are wired to terminal strip and it is easy to get the required operating angles, and the SC Series Position Transmitter has used shafts with manually adjustable cams.

Operating Principle

• Based on the Eddy effect
• Two sensors installed in rotor composed of two eccentric cylinders
• Eccentricities are opposed and symmetrical about the center line
• Angular position variation causes changed distance between sensors coils and cylinders metallic walls
• Differential signal produced and converted by an electronic circuit into a 4 to 20 mA signal
• Pneumatic type (mod. 85) ideal for installation in very hazardous areas output 3 to 15 psi air supply 20 psi
