Sand Plant

Manufactured sand can be successfully used in concrete. Its use is dependent on achieving the right gradation and particle shape to limit water demand. If these properties are produced to provide a high quality sand then performance in the hardened state can be better than that of natural sand. The use of screw classification to remove filler from manufactured sand has allowed control to be given to the sand manufacture process. Sand produced through a crushing and screening plant can have the filler removed to be utilized as filler in concrete mixes.
