Recipe : Soak 100 gms pigeon peas (toovar dal/ Arhar dal) for 30 mints. Boil it with pieces of drumstick brinjal, pumkin and onions. Add 2 tbsp of thick tamarind juice, SHYAM CHILLI POWDER & salt. Add 1 heaped tbsp of SHYAM SAMBHAR MASALA.
Baghar / Tadka:Â Heat 2 tsp of Oil, Add 1 red chilli,1/4 tap fenugreek, 1/2 tsp mustard, 2 springs Curry leaves, A pinch of asafetida.Â
Add the Baghar/Tadka to the above mixture. Boil for2 mins.
