sulfuric acid is very corrosive in nature.it reacts violently with water and it is the normal reation.hence it is adviced to use safety gel - s for sulfuric acid burns instead of washing with water in the affected area.technically this product supplies plenty of calcium ions which attract sulfuric acid and form simple water washable salts, nullyfying the effect of sulfuric acid.
