Sacking

Woven wholly from jute, sacking bags are heavy in weight and have a coarse texture as the fabric is generally made from the lower grade raw jute. It is available in single warp and double warp and in plain or twill form. Jute sacking bags find primary importance in the agro-based and cement industries for storing bulk commodities ranging from 5kgs-100kgs.

Some of the commodities packed in sacking bags are rice, sugar, wheat, coffee, cocoa, peanuts, lentils, pulses, black pepper, fertilizer, seeds and other bulky materials.

Sacking bags have many advantages over the synthetic bags. They are bio-degradable and breathable. Jute bags preserve the quality of the food stored in it. For example, cocoa stored in such bags do not lose their aroma and are not spoilt due to the formation of moisture unlike in plastic bags where the aroma is lost and the cocoa is ruined.

These bags are available in custom sizes, reed porter and pound, and in the forms, A.Twill and B. Twill.
