These covers provide a layer of electrical insulation for phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground protection from bird contact. They are cut to length in the field for a proper fit. The silicone rubber material provides electrical insulation, UV resistance and tracking resistance. These products are designed to provide protection for both equipment and birds. The conductor covers are designed to insulate bare aerial conductors from adjacent phases and grounded equipment. The covers are made with a locking type profile which makes it easy on installation by pressing into the lock without any tools. The covers are offered in Custom thickness sizes for covering 10kV,15 kV,33kV and 66 kV- rated conductors. The products are available in ACSR conductor sizes from 2 AWG to 266 kcmil. We have flame retardant or V-0 material solutions for conductor cover.
