Rubber compound is a mixture of base polymer and other chemicals that form a finished rubber material. More precisely, a compound refers to a specific blend of chemical ingredients tailored to a set of required characteristics to optimize performance for specific service.

When a material is qualified to a value close to the specification limits, normal production variation may cause the material lot to fall outside the limits. The forte of KPM’S process control is based on the requirements defined in compound approval process and actual test results.

This specialized process control results in consistent quality in produced parts from lot to lot. KPM supplies the rubber master batches to the rubber product manufacturers.
