Inconel Pipes is an austenitic nickel-chromium-based alloy that is oxidation and corrosion resistant well suited to work in extreme environments of pressure and heat. When heated they forms a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack. Inconel pipes high temperature strength is developed by solid solution strengthening or precipitation hardening.

ASTM B163 Inconel Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy which can be hot/cold formed where hot working should be performed between 1600° F and 2250° F. This alloy is used for applications that require corrosion & high temperature resistance as it is non-magnetic, immune to chlorine ion stress corrosion cracking, high strength and good weldability.
