Rosewood Furniture

Richly hued with a beautiful deep red glow, rosewood is one of the most sought after wood species and has been traditionally used in designing home furniture since centuries. Belonging to the genus Dalbergia, most rosewood originally came from Madagascar, but then began to be grown across different parts of the world. This fragrant wood with a dense grain near the core and a softer, porous outer core is used extensively in crafting traditional sofa sets, dining tables, Pooja rooms and ornamental furniture such as murals and sculptures. Its soft exterior and ability to breathe are especially beneficial in crafting wooden floorings and other wood interiors such as pillars, stairways and bannisters.
