Rod Seal have two sealing lips, inner lip shorter than the outer lip. It prevents leakage of fluid from the cylinder to the outside.
Rod seal is the most critical seal on any type of fluid power equipment. It prevents leakage of fluid from the cylinder to the outside. In addition, it has two sealing lips. Therefore, an additional lubrication is maintained in the sealing gap due to the action of the two sealing lips. At the same time, it prevents the entry of contaminations from the wiper side.  
Application
Construction machinery, fork-lift trucks, injection moulding machines, agricultural machinery, loading platforms and standard cylinders.  
Installation
It fits easily in closed grooves according to the sizes chart. Therefore You should use special assembly tools during installation. But, It is very important that the assembly tools must be of soft material and have no sharp edges. Before installation the sealing element must be oiled with system oil.
