RG-7 Ruby Gemstone

A delightful, rare, match pair of exceptionally clean rubies. They weight a great 1.50 ct. total weight, top, medium "cherry" red, well executed, round, mixed cut, measuring 4.9 and 5mm rounds, mixed cut, eye flawless, VVS to VS type2 from the Songea region, Tanzania. This is an old stock of African rubies that were imported by a friend cutter 10 years ago and left untreated or low heat treated. He mixed the parcels, so I picked few carats of these natural beauties. We certify one stone from this lot as "unheated" (see the 1.065 ct. few rows below). These rival the finest of Burmese material at half- the price, and they are simply gorgeously lustrous and superbly clean.
