We have been lucky enough to acquire a parcel of unheated Burmese sapphires, rubies and spinels at a great price! This candy-like pink sapphire weights 1.71 ct., medium, intense, pure, hot pink color, excellent, oval, mixed cut, measures 6.8x6.1x5mm, eye flawless, VS type2 from the famed Mogok tract, Upper Burma. Pink sapphires have escalated so much in price in the past three years due to an avid demand by the general public. This stone is a gorgeous example of what Mogok has to offer in terms of unheated pink sapphire approaching 2 ct. Very scarce and difficult to come by, very sought after, this one is simply outstanding, full of kicking brilliance and perfect, hot pink color.
