RF Over Fiber

We have RF over Fiber. Optical fiber is medium of choice in wide, metro, access, and local area (wired) networks. One
interesting approach to integrate optical fiber networks & wireless networks is radio‐over‐fiber
(RFoF) .In RFoF networks, radiofrequencies (RFs) are carried over optical fiber links to support
various wireless applications. Replacing the thick coaxial cables or waveguides with optical
fibers significantly reduces weight and physical space in marine, airborne and land‐based
communication applications. The optical fiber provides low loss and is immune to EMI effects,
thereby providing better signal quality at optimized cost.
Applications:
Clear Communication Systems Limited has developed products that are meant for converting
the RF signal to optical and vice versa. These products are designed, developed and tested for
