This polarimeter is a most modern design of research polarimeter ensuring very accurate results and accepts observation tubes up to 400mm length. Equipment with latest imported optical system the equipment is highly recommended for all types of research work in institutions, laboratories and sugar industries. The overall improvements in its optical design with rotating half shadow system at the front circle of the instrument ensure permanent and undisturbed focus, which maintain a clear definition, even when different types of specimens are examined including dense liquids. This system also provides indication about the direction of rotation of the material being examined. Its highly accurate glass scale is divided to read angular degrees and also carries a sugar scale in i.s.s. Units. The angular scale from 00 to 3600 sub divided to degree i.s.s. Units, the sugar scale from 300 to 1200 i.s.s. Units enable direct reading to 0.1 and by examination to 0.05 sugar degrees.
