They are made of complexion and are extremely high in mineral oxides. Alumina silicate and iron oxide make up Red Ochre. Red Ochre is also known as ‘Guru”. It has been used by humans for thousands of years for painting, art, and decoration. Red ochre is a pigment derived from a naturally occurring earthy iron ore, typically made from either red (Hematite) or yellow (limonite) varieties.
