               solar street light is nothing but street ligth that powerd by solar energy and not run by electricty board power. Solar street light is demand fro new generation beacause it consume less power then regular ligth and most imprtantly it is running independantly regardless of electricity. 

main components of solar street light:

1. solar panel as per led light watt and battery capacity
2. solar battery
3. led light with inbuilt battery charger and auto on/off as per sunset and sunrise.
4. pole. Made of galvanised steel to withstand against corrosion.

operation of solar street light:

       when sun rays strike to solar panel then solar panel converts this sunrays to electricity and this electricity goes to battery chrger which is inbuilt in led light. Then battery charger uses this electricty to charge battery. At evening as sun goes down light will be automatically on by battery. Ligth will automatically off as the sunrise and battery charger continue to charge battery using sun power and the cycle repeat everyday.
