The window is fitted with a handle in the jamb which is used to operate three different functions :

• Side hung function. When the handle is turned to horizontal position, the sash can open inwards, allowing the outside of the window to be cleaned from the inside.
• Bottom-hung function. When the handle is turned to vertical position, pointing upwards, the sash opens approx. 10 cm inwards at the top for efficient ventilation.
• Closed position. To close the window, the handle must be in vertical position pointing downwards.
