Tata Steel's tube SBU today is a leading manufacturer of welded pipes in the country having an installed capacity of over 5,00,000 mt per annum. Currently, tube SBU manufactures structural, conveyance, automotive and boiler tubes at its plant in Jamshedpur and at some external processing agents (EPA). Tata Structura, the brand of structural tube, conforms to IS:4923 and IS:1161 standards for square, rectangular and circular sections respectively.
