RBD Coconut Oil

RBD, an acronym that stands for “Refined, Bleached and Deodorized” is best used to describe the methods indulged in the processing of oil to determine if it is refined or unrefined. The process is typically a high heat process which uses heat or steam to bring the oil up to a high temperature. An earthen bleaching clay is also used to remove any pigment from the oil which involves filtering and even double filtering the final product.
