Wool is the fiber obtained from the hair of sheep and other animals. It is environment friendly and is an organic fibre used to manufacture clothing and blankets for centuries now. Wool Fabrics are well insulated, breathe well, are mildew/mold resistant and waterproof to a certain extent. It is a natural fiber which is renewable and sustainable. Modern uses of Wool extend beyond winter attire, as it can be used for carpets, insulated, felt and luxury suits. Wool Fabrics have the unique ability to stretch much further than Silk, Cotton or other natural fibers, and it regains it’s original shape after being stretched. It has a high absorbency rate and is flame retardant. Wool doesn’t build up static cling: the fabric will not cling to the body or produce a spark. The soft feel and great features of Wool make for a very pleasant experience.
