ramipril ace inhibitor treats hypertension or congestive heart failure. it also protects kidneys from harm due to diabetes. ramipril ingredient medicine comes in form of capsule. it can be taken once or twice with or without food.  high blood pressure when not treated can cause damage to brain, heart, blood vessels, kidneys and different parts of the body. it can also cause loss of vision. this medication controls blood pressure. avoid using these drugs if you are pregnant, this medication can be fatal to unborn baby.
