Description : The updated model of Water / Rain Spray Chamber specially designed to determine suitability of electronic and electrical components driving under rain conditions.

• Construction : Double Wall and leak proof
• Exterior Chamber : Made of 18swg CRC Mild Steel Sheet with three coats of paint
• Interior Chamber : Made of 18swg Stainless Steel Sheet
• Bottom Tank : Made of 18swg Stainless Steel Sheet and is mounted on the Trolley below the Main Chamber.
• Portability : Trolley mounting with casters for easy portability.
• Drainage System : The Chamber will be provided with Tapered Drain Holes to drain out the water accumulated inside the Chamber.
• Door : A full front opening door, double walled insulated and interior lined with Stainless Steel will be provided for ensuring full access to the working space inside the chamber.
• Gasket : Two gaskets, one on the chamber and the other one for leak proofing at the door, are fitted.
• Locking System : The door is also provided with heavy duty hinges & ratchet type locking system.
• Viewing Window : A viewing window of 30 x 30cms will be provided on the door.

Interior Inspection Lamp
An interior inspection light is fixed inside the interior chamber.

Water / Rain Spray Nozzles
Water / Rain spray nozzles will be provided as per standard JSS 55555 to give the water/rain rate of 4 to 10 mm/minute. Four nos. of nozzles at the top Four Corners included 45° and four nos. nozzles in the centre of each four sides. The distance of the nozzles can be adjusted from the test specimen if required.

Pressure Gauges
Separate pressure gauge will be provided for each spray nozzle, for indicating the pressure of the nozzles at the nozzles. The pressure gauges will be mounted on the panel and equivalent length of copper tubing which run to the nozzle end and the gauges will be calibrated accordingly.
Chamber
The chamber will be provided with a cylinder in the centre with 8 nos. of sockets, which will be connected to the nozzle. The cylinder will be fed through a suitable pump to create the sufficient pressure with by-pass valve and the main valves will control the pressure in the cylinder which in turn controls the pressure at the nozzle tips. All the connections will be provided with compression fitting for leak proofing. The same water will be recirculated.

Control Panel & Wiring
At the right hand side or at the Top of the Chamber, a control panel will be fixed with all the controls, switches, fuses, contactor assemblies and indicating lamps etc. All the channel type wiring will be as per IS Code for suitable current rated copper wires.

Safety Protection

• Back up fuse protection for mains, pump and geared motor.
• Overload protection for pump and geared motor.
• Safety Limit Switch will also be Provided.
