Radial Vane Louver Dampers

Radial vane louver dampers have cantilevered or center-supported radial blades spaced around a circular frame are rotated by a linkage outside the ring frame. The blades usually turn in the same direction, so this damper imparts whirl to the air. Buffering and vibration, occurring in disturbed flow, can be dangerous.

The Radial Vane Damper is predominantly used on fan inlet applications, offering an enhanced level of flow and pressure control.

A Radial Vane Damper has multiple blades arranged around a central hub enhancing the performance of the fan by introducing swirl into the fan inlet providing an efficient method of control.
