Uses of Quarter Turn Worm Gearboxes : These Quarter Turn Worm Gearboxes are specially designed to operate valves that turn through 90°. These include, ball, butterfly & plug valves. Adjustable, mechanical stoppers are provided to set the operation within ± 5° of the extreme positions. A mechanical position indicator is provided on these units to show the valve position.
