This test can be used in emergencies ICUs for diagnosis of MI in the suspected cases of cardiac attack. It is for in-vitro diagnostic use only. The test is based upon immuno-chromatographic principle. Monoclonal antibodies of Troponin I have been used in the test formulation to make it highly sensitive and specific.
