ENCLOSURE

• F.R.P . / Cast Aluminium / Sheet Metal Enclosure with IP-54/IP-55/IP-65 Degree of Protection

• Enclosure door will be bolted type.All components except the Push button / Selector Switch operating knobs will be base mounted. The cutout for ammeter will be covered with clear glass.

• Padlocking facility for the Stop Push button can be provided on the front plate if specified. • Neoprene Gasket will be provided.

TERMINALS

Clip on/ Cage Clamp/ Cat M3 type terminals blocks suitable for connection of 1.5/2.5/4 mm sq.aluminium copper conductors. Terminal design ensure vibration-proof connections. Terminals for each push button to be brought out separately into the terminal chamber.MAKE : ELMEX / CONNECTWELL./ PHONIX / WAGO.

MOUNTING

All Push Button Stations will have four external lugs for fixing.The lugs shall be offset type to facilitate correct positioning. in case of FRP Enclosure mounting Lugs will be duly hot dip galvanised.

EARTHING

Enclosure of Local Control Stations will be provided with 1 or 2 nos. External earthing terminals , each complete with 2 plain and one spring washer and a nut.

CABLE ENTRY

Enclosure of all Push Button Sations will be provided with 2 cable entries 3/4” ET/BSC as desired at bottom unless required otherwise.These will be provided with knockout stoppers.Cable Glands can be provided if required at extra cost.

PUSH BUTTONS

The Start Push Button will be Flush Spring Return Type with green knob. The Stop Push Button will be red with Flush / Projected/Mushroom head. These can also be provided with Mushroom Head Stayput type with or without Latching Mushroom Head Key Lockable Type Ø22.5mm range have been considered for all Push Button Station. However ,

Ø30.5mm Push Buttons can also be provided on request. MAKE : TEKMEC CONTACT ELEMENTS

‘START’ Push Button will be provided with 1NO OR 1NO+1NC and ‘STOP’ Push Button will have 1NC OR 1NO+1NC Contact Block. Contact Block s are rated for 4/10A / 500V AC & 1A / 220V dc. Contact Arrangement can be increased upto 2NO + 2NC for each Push Button MAKE : TEKMEC

AMMETERS

Ammeters will be of 72 * 72 mm / 96 * 96mm moving iron type with Class I accuracy direct CT operated (CT provided elsewhere) with 1 Amp. CT secondary rating .All ammeterwill be Industrial grade accuracy and will have a basic range of 0-1/6 with suppressed scale calibration will be as per data sheets. MAKE : RISHABH / AE / TEKMEC

INDICATING LAMP

Ø22.5mm Indicating Lamp shall be Low Burden Filament type /LED/NEON with bayonet cap or with LED Lamps lenses will be of polycarbonate or other equivalent unbreakable material. MAKE : TEKMEC

SELECTOR SWITCHES

Selector Switches will be CAM type , Spring Loaded , Key Lockable suitable for 10/16A single pole MAKE : TEKMEC WIRING

Local Control Stations will be duly wired from Contact Terminals to clip on type Terminal Blocks with PVC insulated copper cable max. Size 2.5 mm sq. / 4mm sq./10mm sq. Requisite space is provided between gland plate and terminals. MAKE : POLYCAB/HAVELLS or any ISI mark

PAINTING (IN CASE OF CAST ALUMINIUM & SHEET METAL ENCLOSURE ONLY)

Push Button Station enclosure is cleaned & anti corrosive treatment is given , finally painted with either stove enamel or epoxy paint or powder coated.

NAME PLATE

• Each Control Stations can be provided with engraved perspex nameplates with white letters on black background. (Inscription details to be provided by the purchaser).

• Push Button Switches , Indicating Lamps etc. Will be provided with legend plates indicating their respective function.
