We are offering pure desi ghee.
Pure desi ghee is a type of clarified butter which is prepared by melting butter, boiling off the water and separating the clear, golden butter fat from the milk solids. However, the production of ghee includes simmering the butter along with milk solids which makes the ghee nutty tasting and aromatic. Pure desi ghee is a type of clarified butter that originated in india and is commonly used in south asian (indian, nepali, pakistani, bangladeshi, sri lankan) cuisine and ritual. Ghee is better for high-heat cooking than butter since it has a smoke point of between 450°f to 475°f, as compared to butter which has a smoke point of 350°f. Ghee contains omega 3 and omega 9 essential fatty acids along with vitamins a, d, e and k. Ghee is made from organic butter of pastured cows and is one of the highest natural sources of cla (conjugated linoleic acid), 9 phenolic anti-oxidants, as well as numerous other minerals. Ghee has a longer shelf life than ordinary butter, when stored in an air-tight container and can be kept at room temperature.
