Contact SupplierFAV is the manufacturer of PTFE Compression Tube Fittings . We also supply PTFE Tubes along with the fittings . One stop solution for your PTFE Requirements .FAV range of PTFE Fittings and PTFE Pipe Fittings are widely used due to unique characteristics of PTFE Material
FAV PTFE Compression Tube Fittings is made from Single Ferrule Design .Since it is made from PTFE Bars it provides a much better performance then other molded ptfe fittings .
PTFE Fittings (Polytetrafluoroethylene) a fluorocarbon-based polymer is a resin supplied in powdered form, which is mixed, preformed, and extruded into a paste, and then finally tubing. PTFE Fittings tubing can be used in a large variety of applications due to its high chemical resistance, high and low temperature capability, resistance to weathering, electrical and thermal insulation, and lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material. The fittings are translucent white in Colour.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a strong, tough, waxy, nonflammable synthetic resin produced by the polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene. Known by such trademarks as Teflon, Fluon, Hostaflon, and Polyflon, PTFE is distinguished by its slippery surface, high melting point, and resistance to attack by almost all chemicals. The chemical resistance properties of PTFEÂ is so broad that its use is not recommended for only a limited list of chemicals. All of these fluoropolymers are generally acceptable for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. Due to lack of additives and extreme chemical inertness these materials also qualify for ultrapure applications, such as using deionized (DI) water in the semiconductor, biological and pharmaceutical industries.
To summarize properties of PTFE are as follows:
1.   Chemical resistance
2.   Long-term weathering
3.   Non-stick
4.   Non-flammability
5.   Low dielectric constant and low dissipation factor
6.   High arc resistance, surface and volume resistivities
7.   Flexibility at low temperatures and thermal stability at high temperatures
8.   Low coefficient of friction
