Contact SupplierHYDRO PNEUMATIC PRESSURE BOOSTER SYSTEM consists of an automatic pressure controlled pump and pressure tank, which contain an air filled polyether-urethane (PEU) bladder. The water gets pumped in this tank that compresses it and pressurizes the bladder, which in turn maintains the desired pressure within the whole water piping and fixtures.
The method of reducing stating current and inverter loading is to vary motor speed. Centrifugal pumps follow a set of physical laws known as laws of affinity. One of them states that states that the power required to run a pump varies as a cube of any change in speed. If one reduces the normal running speed of 1 HP Pump by 50% only 1/8 HP is required to run it at the lower speed. Even a reductions result is substantial power reduction.
An AC electric motor’s speed is varied by changing the frequency of the power supply. AC power in the US is supplied at 60 Hz. With a device known as a variable frequency drive, the supply frequency can be varied 0 to 60 Hz. By starting the motor at lower frequency and ramping up to full speed over a period of a second or so, starting current is greatly reduced. Another advantage of this controlled pump is that their speeds can be controlled automatically to provide constant pressure during varying flow conditions. A simple pressure transducer, connected to the VFD, monitor pump discharge pressure & varies motor speed, thus maintaining pressure as demand varies in addition to providing nearly constant reducing the pump when demand decrease.
