Indications and usage:
meslataj tablets are indicated for the treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative colitis and for the maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis.
contraindications:meslataj tablets are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to salicylates or to any of the components of the meslataj tablet.
use in hepatic impairment:there have been reports of hepatic failure in patients with pre-existing liver disease who have been administered mesalamine. Caution should be exercised when administering meslataj to patients with liver disease.
