ICD SPARTAN prepayment meter is designed with latest state of art technology. It offers high accuracy, reliability and also
real value for money. This instrument is most suitable for measuring all electrical parameters.

The measured information’s are shown in 8 digit LCD. 3x4 matrix keypad is provided on the front panel of the meter to
access the information easily and quickly. The front panel is provided with antiglare feature for improved readability.

The measurement parameters include voltage, current, kW, and Energy (KWh). The voltage, Current, Power and energy
readings are true R.M.S including harmonics. The power and energy measurement is done for the full four quadrants. The
meter computes and updates the parameters every second.

In the present power scenario, Revenue & Demand Side Management are crucial for electrical power distribution. Users should be guided towards the energy savings & awareness needed on their energy consumption. So system need revenue management with better cash flow, reduced / elimination of billing and payment process & metering with the facility of demand side management.

Components of Energy Management System

Data Logger – Interfacing with pulse output type meters. Each logger can connect 60/30 meters. Data Concentrator – required for interfacing meters with RS485 output. Each concentrator can support up to 30 individual meters.
Media Convertors – RS485 to RS232 Convertors, repeaters, Fiber Optic convertors and GSM/GPRS Modem depending on type of network.
Network cables – RS485 cables, LAN Cables, Fiber Optic Cables, and other connecting accessories
Software Packages – ICD EMsoft is an indigenous software package exclusively designed for logging data from Data Concentrator, data logger and individual instruments. Our software comes in 4 versions: micro, compact, professional and business. It’s a user-friendly GUI based application.
