It is a 3-layered chip board made by binding wood particles, ranging in size from flakes to splinters, together with suitable adhesives such as plastic resin and pressing them to form sheets.Further options are – it could be made from MDF – medium density fiber, or HDF, high-density fiber boards. In both cases, the laminates are attached during the manufacturing process, and could appear either on one side or on both sides.
