Mode of Application/Agronomy :

• Soil - Soils should be fertile and well drained. Sandy loam to black soil, rich in organic matter> 20 % are preferred
• Climate - Red Pearl prefers cool winter and dry, hot summer
• Variety - Bhagwa or Sinduri
• Season of Planting - Feb - March (summer), June - July (monsoon) and September- October (Early Winter)
• Spacing - Spacing of 5 M x 4 M is desirable for proper growth of crop plants
